1- copyright laws need to be stricter because it creates an open window for people to take and steal other peoples body of work. Copy right laws are to protect work and peoples creativity and to get credited for it. It helps school because your able to show kids the right and wrong ways to use other peoples work and how to properly credit them.Copy write infringement is a real thing and people who create should always be supported.
I believe punishment is a little harsh for copy write but i do believe it should be addressed in a non-hostile way . I say that because everyone piggybacks on a idea or view point but i do believe whoever you piggyback on should be credited. Creativity is something that everyone has and sometimes more than one person has the same idea or thought process. The line between creativity and copy write, because everyone has a free will to promote and say how they feel so its kinda tough doing that knowing someone has word for word copy written .

These books can improve us into being greater human beings by seeing yourself in someone else. Meaning forgetting who you are in that moment and putting yourself in someone else’s shoes and trying to understand their core values without the projection of judgement onto them. These books can be beneficial because we lose the barrier of self we are able to think more freely and have more of an understanding of one another. Reading about new cultures and values help people develop new ideas on certain topics and are now educated and are able to speak confidently based on what they just read . We these books I was able just to read Scaredy Squirrel
I can see myself in this book because I am also afraid of unknown things and find much comfort in routine. This story helped me because it reminded me that it is okay to embrace change because, it might lead to something better. This story also helped me to better understand the author’s message, on how being content in a routine often stunts your growth as an individual. The Invisible boy I see myself in this book because everyone has felt not good enough or not seen and ive went through this faze. Also how good things come to you if your patient enough for it. I used to feel not seen because I didn't have enough friends when I was younger. It helped me because the objective of the book displayed how it looked to actually get received. And that sometimes it's not you its your surroundings and that your not always gonna mix well with the people around you. What do you do with an idea ? This book is teaching how ideas form and how you can achieve an idea. And how creative ideas follow you until you decide to use them. This book relates to me because everyone has goals and creative ideas. My goals and creative ideas also follow me until I write them out and try to fulfill these goals. Thunder boy jr I see myself in this because I have always wanted to be independent and be my own person , and that's what you see in this book. I love being known as me and just me and all my accomplishments without the thought of others having an input in my success This helped me as a reader because everyone wants their name to be attached to some type of accomplishment. It also helped me see how it looks and seem and sometimes it doesn't come off as well or comes off as arrogant or obnoxious. Knock Knock In this book I see myself reflected because everyone misses someone no matter where they are. It helped me as a reader because no matter where the person you are missing is at their values always remains strong in your heart and mind. The values in the book is something everyone needs or has been taught in some shape and form, also it teaches the reader that you have to do great for you and that drive can come from someone you are missing The last stop on Market street This book reminds me of my nana and how she always instilled gracefulness and politeness. These values remains strong in me as just as it did when I was young This book helped me with the understanding that the values you learn as a child grows with you . Also that no matter how young or old you are respect and manners goes along way and understanding that everyone's human. Crown an ode to the fresh cut I relate to this book because there is nothing that boost your self esteem more than a fresh new hair style or getting your nails done. This book helps me with the understanding that guys actually care about their looks as well as women do . Zen Shorts I see myself in this book because I never try to let fear overcome my opinion of something. And with not fear taking me over I am able to accept anything wholeheartedly The book teaches the reader that always never look at something in the eyes of fear because everything you experience has a lesson or is a purpose or has a purpose Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher http://www.thirteenreasonswhy.com/ Do you generally agree, or disagree with, the banning and/or restricting of books? I generally disagree with the banning of books because I believe that people should be educated on everything because with knowledge comes power. But I do believe that there should be restrictions on some lie an age bracket which already exist. The banning of books cuts off the understanding of a topic that some or mostly everyone falls short of its understanding. The banning of books also kinda does the opposite of what's the basis of the library is based on. I believe that “ Thirteen Reasons Why “ was challenged because the basics of the book is not a light subject but something that must be vocalized. With teen suicide being more common than what society would want it is a sad reality and book that emphasizes the effects of bullying can do to someone mentally and physically. This book to me was also challenged because this topic of suicide is practically new because it was always known to be taboo addressing it or admitting that it is a lot more common in society. The book goes into depth about bullying in society which should be displayed more to see the outcomes of both parts of suicide and its aftermath. |
